COLLECTIVE was founded in 2009 with the core belief that businesses are in a unique position
to push international development and are vital to the positive social fabric in our world today.
Focusing on premium ethical basics we journey from seed to stitch in an endeavour to create
new meaning through collaborative stories and provenance, allowing us to advance relationships
between people and the environment; it is in this way that we encourage individual contribution
to positive social change and environmental stability and to never forget each and every hand
that our garments have touched.
All our sourcing and manufacturing has been carefully considered in an effort to create a
responsible premium garment and although we are deeply proud of our supply chain we recognise
that this is an ongoing challenge that requires us to continually find new ways of working that
achieve ecological, social and cultural balance.
We hope that our garments will invest the wearer with human agency and celebrate ingenuity,
